One of the first few steps for installing Ubuntu is to create bootable USB of Ubuntu. If you are using Windows 7 or 10, you can use Rufus tool to easily create a bootable USB. It is extremely easy to use.
Let’s see how to make a Bootable USB of Ubuntu in Windows.....
Step-1
- Download Ubuntu 20.04 Iso from here
- Download Rufus from here
- Take backup of the Usb drive files it will be formatted in this process
- Connect the Usb drive to the system
Step-2
Open Rufus
Now Select the Usb drive that u want to use

You dont need to make any changes, if its a windows .iso it will automatically select the NTFS file system and if it is a ubuntu it will switch to FAT32.
Click on Start
& it will ask u for permission of downloading Syslinux files press "yes"

Select Write in ISO image mode & click ok

Now it will give u a warning of that all the data on the Drive will be formatted (Take backup all of the data of Drive) & select ok

Now it will start creating file system on Ussb

This process will take hardly 5-10min depending on the speed of your Usb
